Oxford Art Online


"In order to reuse, reproduce, digitize or translate any except, chapter and image from Oxford Art Online, you need to fill out a permissions request form, available at the following URL:

Depending on your request, please select the appropriate link on the online form, and follow the instructions."

Credo Reference

Use the "Image Search" option from the pull-down menu on the main screen.

Library Books

  • To see if a book contains images, click on the title to open the full catalog record.  Check the Physical Description line for "ill." which stands for illustration.
  • You can look for books that contain primarily illustrations by searching for your topic keywords and "pictorial works."
